Carson McNeely
he/him/his
Born in midwest rural Illinois Carson formed a love and admiration for the outdoors by wandering the forests and bluffs along the river edge.
After a year of teaching Carson set his sights and free time on expanding his profession by working at a summer camp in north eastern Pennsylvania. His first summer there he would meet his future wife, Becci, and her experience of globe trotting immediately caught his eyes. In Carson’s search to grow as a role model and teacher he decided to take his experience to the desert and work in wilderness therapy, where as a field instructor he was able to continue with his passion of supporting young people. During this time he found a passion for therapy and holding vulnerable spaces for others to share their stories.
From there he went on to work with young adults transitioning to independent living. It was in Asheville, with the woods still his classroom, he began to develop his own system for introducing others to overcome their struggles. After a brief stint in Nashville supervising evening programming with an intensives company he came back west to lead outdoor programming with a therapeutic program in Park City.
When not at work Carson can be found out on trail somewhere in the mountains on a bike or with is dogs.
